Genre: Historical Fiction

Missouri Author Richard O. Snelson utilized his deep seated roots in the Crawford county region of the Ozark Mountains to write 'THE HAWKSBILL CRAG.' Part adventure novel, part love story, the book was inspired by the 1983 hanging of a fourteen year old slave girl, who used to live in the still standing Snelson-Brinker cabin that was built near Meramec Springs.

Richard has written for several magazines and published an aviation newsletter, writing many of the featured articles, and short stories. His first novel 'LUNKER' (A BRANSON TALE) captured the warmth and flavor of Branson, Missouri. An engineer in his former life, Richard's career included the McDonnell Gemini program in St. Louis, and continued through the early development of computers for businesses and engineering applications. He and his wife, RoxAnne, live on a ranch with their horses, while he continues to pen stories of the Ozark area he loves.

Richard is a member of Ozarks Writers League, Ozark Creative writers, and Missouri Writers Guild.

5 Star REVIEW~~"The Second Republic-Patriot Acts-Part II' Author STEVEN CLARK BRADLEY

Thousands of innocent Americans have been killed by a deadly virus as the President of the United States races against time to stop it. Steven Clark Bradley takes the reader behind the chilling scenes, inside the White House as treachery and terrorism reaches its peak, while extreme measures are taken to avoid destroying America's constitutional freedom. A hero is born as the intriguing characters come to life in a captivating story that sends chills up your spine! The author, who has traveled to thirty-four countries, uses his expertise in historic knowledge, then creates an unforgettable story in a novel that will haunt the mind long after closing the book. The mysterious events that take place will indeed leave the reader with one scary question. What if America could not stop the next horrific terrorist attack, despite the increased amount of security? I highly recommend 'The Second Republic-Patriot Acts-Part II' to all thriller lovers who enjoy explosive action, combined with intense suspense. The devastation and horror of the terrorist attack on September 11, 2001, left a mark in history that America will never forget. However, the thought of a bio-attack, planned to target the United States without warning becomes a nightmare relived in the reader's mind of the possible frightening consequences. Fisher is a fascinating character, and the story becomes more realistic, page-after-page. The author penned an incredible compelling novel that's made for the movie screen, with a story that's too close to home. This novel will keep you on the edge of your seat as vivid images are painted throughout to capture the imagination, leaving an impressive aftermath. As the tension begins to increase, along with aggression, so does the reader's curiosity. Could 'The Second Republic' appear in the headlines tomorrow, will America be prepared, and who will survive? This electrifying novel is as entertaining as WORLD TRADE CENTER, and as thrilling as AIR FORCE ONE, with Harrison Ford.

I am so excited about having been given the opportunity of authoring my Memoirs, 'The Most Intelligent Of Idiots.' It is appropriately titled. **Welcome Back** Author STEVEN CLARK BRADLEY

Patriot Acts-Part II
A Fisher Harrison Saga

Genre: Thriller!/StevenBradley!/AuthorSteven

In THE SECOND REPUBLIC, the President of the United States is confronted with a radical underground secret cabal that has targeted America with a domestic bio-terror attack that dwarfs the assault unleashed on September 11, 2001. Set in 2001, this character-driven 67,000 word suspense-thriller weaves a tale that is plausible as it is exciting. This second book in a trilogy takes the reader into the White House, where treachery and terrorism boils below its underbelly and a former Special Ops, now the President of the United States races to stop a deadly virus, which has killed thousands of innocent Americans without invoking emergency powers that could destroy American constitutional freedoms.

The hook is how these stories immediately take the reader out of the realm of fiction and directly into the world in which we actually live. I am currently writing PATRIOT ACTS part 3, titled 'EXECUTIVE ORDER.' It takes off, right where part 2 finishes.

It takes the reader even more deeply into the financial master's plots to control the money supply and to use their unlimited wealth to control the nation. When the President threatens to reveal their plots, the nation is taken to a new depths of woe. All three books are so real and riveting, that the hook is a natural captivating effect that captures the reader and instills a real fear of how much it is like the day we live.

The emergency powers referenced in this novel are real and could be invoked in the event of a massive terrorist attack upon the American homeland. Research sources from the Center for Disease Control, Homeland Security, and the Defense Department validate that the threats described in THE SECOND REPUBLIC are ripped from today's headlines and too frighteningly conceivable for comfort.
