*Welcome C. Michelle McCarty* Author of "THE JEWEL BOX"

~~Author C. Michelle McCarty

~~~About The Author~~~
Michelle McCarty grew up as the youngest of five sisters in a small Texas town. Finding it difficult to be heard over older siblings, she began expressing herself through writing at an early age. Daydreaming and writing proved cathartic for teenage angst, but didn't do much in the way of enhancing her social skills. Not comfortable speaking in public, Michelle says writing stories opens a window in her heart where words swing dance into each other and fill her with joy, and sometimes great pride. Writing takes her to imaginary places filled with ordinary and extraordinary characters who offer intimate details of their humorous, eccentric, romantic, dramatic and sometimes mundane lives. She writes to learn moral lessons by placing characters in a variety of situations, which in turn offers soul searching and sometimes personal resolutions. Michelle believes flawed characters reveal that everyone, no matter how imperfect or seemingly insignificant, offers something special in pretend worlds as well as in real life. When not writing, Michelle's time is filled with twin granddaughters, Annabella and Alexandria who zap her energy, yet light up her life. She also works part-time as editor for an online newspaper.
'THE JEWEL BOX' is Michelle's first published novel. Michelle enjoys chatting with readers from around the world. To learn about her upcoming novel, Beyond The Pale, and more, please visit her website @,, or: @,
*Welcome Back Charlene Raddon* Author of "THE SCENT OF ROSES"
Genre: Historical Romance
~~~About The Author~~~

Charlene Raddon's propensity for fiction dates back to elementary school, when she used to make up stories to get attention. She was in her thirties, when she became addicted to reading romance novels. The thought of writing a book herself didn't occur to her until 1980, when she awoke from a vivid dream she decided it needed to be in a book. That book was a time travel, which publishes weren't buying then, but she is reworking it. Other than winning or placing in several literary contests, her first success came in 1991, when her romance entitled 'BRIANNA' became a Golden Heart Finalist. Within two years of that event, she signed a three-book contract with Zebra Books(Kensington Books), who published five of her historical romance novels. Her third book, FOREVER MINE, received a Romantic Times Reviewer's Choice Award Nomination. Other awards include finaling in the Affaire de Coeur Reader/Writer Best Book of the Year contest. Today, Charlene's backlist is being released as eBooks by Tirgearr Publishing. She anticipates seeing a brand new story published later this year.

Jason Whitney chronicles a delightful tale as it tugs at the heart, while he takes the reader on a fascinating and exciting journey, through the life of a little seed. Along the way, the reader will witness how life began for the tiny seed, and where it was destined to go. One day, the seed fell to the earth, blowing across fields from the strong gusts of wind. It then traveled through a stream, and washed off to shore, finding itself under the shoe of a Shepherd, finally reaching its place in the world. As the seed matured into a stalk of grass, it not only provided comfort for all those who walked by, but also offered warmth to a manger bed for baby Jesus. The author highlights the importance of how we all serve a purpose, while defining the true definition of fate, and destiny. In addition, he reminds us that we must endure trials-and-tribulations on that long road to finding ourselves, and our own special place in the world. The stunning, colorful illustrations bring the meaningful story to life as we follow beautifully written, poetic verse. Young reader's will be interested in the characters, which will encourage them to ask questions, and voice their opinions. This impressive story is perfect for group discussions as well, not just for the holidays, but anytime for enjoyable reading sessions, or quality time. Jason Whitney teaches the young, curious mind about life's challenges, and how they make us stronger, and more confident in serving others. The author portrays that in this lifetime, we get what we give as life offers rewards, after we crossed some bumpy roads. The poetic rhyme adds more spice to this fun-filled, entertaining journey, while the calming story offers peace and tranquility. "THE SEED" is as heartwarming as Miracle On 34th Street, as delightful as Polar Express, and as thought-provoking as It's A Wonderful Life. Highly recommended to teachers, parents, and child-care providers.
