He and his wife Sally have two young adult children, as well as two dogs, and a grand-dog. His first novel HOUSE CALL was released in 2005. His second novel POINTS OF ORIGIN was released in 2006. His third novel FRESH FROZEN was released in 2008. Darden North is a member of Mystery Writers Of America, The Mississippi writers Guild, and Sisters In Crime. He is also a member of the Independent Book Publishers Association. 2008 marked the beginning of 23 years of private medical/surgical practice, a background that lends unmistakable authenticity to his medical thrillers as Darden North portrays intense character relationships.
