Deanie Humphrys-Dunne spent her childhood on a riding school in Easton, Connecticut. She has always enjoyed writing, and is a graduate of 'The Institute For Children's Literature.' She has had an article published in 'Horsepower Magazine.' Her First book is TAILS OF SWEETBRIER, which was published in 2009. "CHARLIE THE HORSE" is her second book. CHARLENE THE STAR, her third book, was released in 2010, published by Avid Readers Group Publishing.
Deanie enjoys watching equestrian events, reading, singing, and music. She also enjoys spending time with her husband, Francis and their children, Brendan and Shane and their dog, Elliot. Deanie is an avid Yankee fan, and loves watching figure skating events.

Holly's passion for art began at an early age, when she began her art career under the teachings of renowned local artist Ray Quigley. She earned a Fine Arts Degree from Southern Methodist University. Presently, she dedicates her talents to equestrian family portraits, along with children's book illustrations. She illustrated TAILS OF SWEETBRIER, CHARLIE THE HORSE, and CHARLENE THE STAR, authored by Deanie Humphrys-Dunne.
