She began writing stories on Post-It notes at the age of 8, but found a true love for writing novels at 16. HOW THE HART BREAKS stemmed from a brainstorming session with a fellow writer, morphed into a triology, and soon took on a life of its own. Now 26 years old, Alysia lives and works in Fresno, CA.
