Holly Robinson's essays, articles and advice columns have appeared in: The Boston Globe;Family Circle; Ladie's Home Journal; More; Parents; Parenting; Shape; and many other national publications. She also works as a celebrity ghost writer. Her first book, THE GERBIL FARMER'S DAUGHTER: A Memoir(crown 2009) was a Target Breakout Book. Her indie-published novel, SLEEPING TIGERS, was named a 2011 ForeWord Reviews fiction semifinalist and a 2012 Best Indie Books semifinalist by Kindle Book Review. Her newest novel, THE WISHING HILL, will be published by New American library/Penguin in July 2013. Ms. Robinson holds a B.A. in biology from Clark University and is a graduate of the MFA program in Creative Writing at the university of Massachusetts, Amherst. She and her husband have five children, two dogs, two cats, and one very grumpy hamster.
