Dianne Ebertt Beeaff has been drawn to the American Southwest since
childhood, capturing its buttes, mesas, and sunsets on canvas since
grade school. A native of Kitchener, Ontario, Canada, Dianne moved to
Phoenix in the late 1960s. A history major at the University Of Arizona,
she customized her coursework to focus on Southwest studies, and
graduated with honors. An acclaimed artist, Dianne's graphite sketches,
and watercolor paintings have been on display in local, and national
galleries. She has also worked extensively as a freelance writer, her
poetry, and articles have been featured in magazines in the United States, and Canada. Dianne has also published two works of nonfiction.
A collection of self-illustrated poetry, HOMECOMING and a bestselling
account of her road trip experiences with the legendary Irish rock band
U2, A GRAND MADNESS, Ten Years On The Road With U2.
"POWER'S GARDEN" is Dianne's first novel. She and her husband
Dan, reside in Tucson, Arizona with their two children, Danielle
and Dustin.
